Physical work within graphic design is often seen as a dying art within the professional world, but Jay Ryan is an exception! His own recognisable and individual style helped inspire some of my earlier work and still effects my approach to it today.
Here are some examples of his style!

I did some background research into his process of work as this helped me start to get into good habits of working. He first very roughly draws out his idea, with many rubbings out. When satisfied he then draws out the final outcome he goes to kink's where the drawing is transferred onto an overhead transparency.
The next step is in his studio where he cuts the Lubylith (mask used for making screen prints) putting it onto of a lightbox. This then moves onto the normal screen printing process, where mesh from the screen will be open to allow the inks to go through.
From 1 sketch design he averagly creates 350 of the same to be sold to the public.
